DO YOU HAVE A GOOD REASON TO GET OUT AND VOTE THIS FALL?
Elections round two comes on November 3rd when you have the final opportunity to select two city council members from among the remaining four candidates. Again, I am hoping you will vote and include me as one of your two choices. I am asking those of you who voted for a different candidate in the primary election to now consider joining the Tuley camp and cast your votes in my favor. Please review the remainder of this pamphlet, and the questions and answers on my website as a refresher of my commitment to the city, and of the skills I can use to serve you in the future. Someone has surmised that since I am already a temporary member of the council that I do not need your vote. That is definitely wrong. When standing in the face of change and opportunity, there is no one I would rather elect to the City Council of Saratoga Springs than Cecil Tuley. Since I started writing for the local paper over 15 months ago, Cecil Tuley's name has come up numerous times. He has made a dedicated effort to be involved not only as a resident who wants to be kept informed but by injecting himself into an overworked staff to ensure that the desires of the city residents were met. By essentially carving out a position for himself volunteering along side our staff members, Cecil Tuley has fought hard to make sure impact fees collected by the city were used to beautify and provide recreation for citizens. It is my firm belief that without Cecil Tuley, we would have not seen the Dalmore Meadows and Saratoga Hills parks appear nor would we have seen the park that is currently under construction on Panarama Drive. For someone to love a city so much to essentially force the creation of a volunteer position is amazing... This is the type of person I want to see on our City Council. Vote alongside me for Cecil Tuley November 3rd.
